Volterra - a small town in Tuscany. This old city cannot be overlooked. If you drive from Pisa to Siena, you can not miss it. Perhaps this historic city is not yet so well known. But has a lot to offer. There is something interesting for everyone here. Whether history or the landscape around the city or the typical small alleys... one will not regret a visit.
A souvenir made of alabastro is of course a must.

Lake Braies is located in South Tyrol, the northernmost province of Italy that borders Austria and Switzerland. Once you reach the lake, especially if this is your first time, you will be taken by a unique and unstoppable emotion. A basin with intense coloured waters rushes to the horizon, surrounded by dense vegetation alternating with huge mountain ranges: a walk along its banks is a must.
The Vittoriano e.g. the statue of the Victor Emmanuel II is located on the hill of The Capitolium .The monument is located in a huge complex of the Altare della patria (Altar of the fatherland) which is the main point of Piazza Venezia. From this monument radiant roads bring you to a different sightseeing located nearby (Palazzo Bonaparte, palazzo Valentini). There are several tombs nearby the Monument. Exactly to the right of the square Venice (Piazza Venezia) is the Trajan column. Piazza Venezia is famous of its bars, restaurants and many small touristic shops.
Sicily is a pretty island with mostly rolling hills, and one side dominated by the volcano Etna.
The best volcano to visit though, is Stromboli, on its own little green island. This should be done early in the holiday, especially if you're in the autumn, as it's "impossible" for the Italians to run their ferries and hydrofoils in any wind stronger than a weary breeze, and being stranded there whilst the food, water and currency runs out, can be an experience that's better in retrospect... a bit like watching the quayside riot when there wasn't enough space on the first service home at the next island. Torbole is a small village on the northern shore of Lake Garda. As soon as you arrive in Torbole you will surely notice that the wind is strong, in fact, it is one of the favourite spots for those who practice windsurfing. You can even admire the acrobatics of dozens of surfers along the shore but beware of sore throats!
A weekend in Sila. Precisely Lorica, a tourist village in the province of Cosenza. Calabria, Italy...
Turin is among the biggest Italian cities; however, isn’t as popular with tourists as much as other cities in Italy. Thus, it doesn’t appear on many websites or magazines.
