Mumbai

Mumbai street view
If you have the eyes to see it and a camera to capture it, then I believe India is indeed your paradise...
I took this picture at a Chaotic market in Mumbai with hundreds of people jamming the road. The concept of traffic rules was lost into oblivion. You shout, you curse, you bump into a man, no one really cares, because no one's got the time. It's a fast moving world. Cars, pedestrians, bikes, cycles alongside carts may be a rare scene elsewhere but not in India. That market was a beautiful mess.

Poverty in this country is not a secret, no wonder there are so many wires hanging on the road and people can't really afford electricity so they steal it, but can you blame them?

There is pain, agony, poverty but people still smiles when you take their pictures, and I guess that's why we should take as many pictures as possible no matter where we go, what we do or what we see. It feels good.

As this website has grown, along with its community, we realised that not everyone who travels has the time or ability to write an article. So to make the site more universal, we have created this space to allow people from all over the world to share their experience through media, no matter their language or background.

If you have been on a trip or place you feel needs to be shared with others then feel free to send in your images with a description, and we will put it up.

Who we are

This website is run to help share travel experiences and advice. We rely on travellers from all around the world to record their travels and send them in so that we can share and connect them with people interested in travelling or to those wanting to know more about that certain destination. (please get in contact if you have a trip you would like to share)

Myself (Alex Hood) and the head journalist of the site (Elly Babe) also share our own travel experience for others to enjoy and be inspired by. We both study English Literature at the University of Brighton and love the way in which the site has allowed us to put in to practice what we have learn't on our degree.  We will be moving to Athens for a study year so expect lost of content from Greece. Any advice or tips are always welcome.
