They call this show the Nang Yai (หนังใหญ่), Nang Yai is a form of Shadow play Puppets are made of painted  buffalo hide, while the story is narrated by songs, chants and music.
Nang means "leather" ("leather puppet" in this case), and in common usage refers to a dance-drama shadow puppet show. Nang yai, whose name specifically means "large shadow puppet".
Nang yai can be found throughout Thailand. For example, in central Thailand, Nang Yai is performed at Khanon in Ratchaburi, Wat Plub in Petchaburi, Wat Sawang Arom in Singburi, and Wat Pumarin in Samut SongKram, while in Eastern Thailand it can be found at Wat Donin in Rayong Province.

We love to travel and we can see different culture as we travel the world. We are exploring the world and this is a fun adventure we can all enjoy. Life has its ups and downs, but the important thing is that we will not stop for we know that there is a great reward waiting for us. Life will give us the things that we have asked for and we just need to be patient for a while. Patience is indeed a virtue for all of us to remember. I am excited to read more posts about travel. Let us make the most out of this activity.

As this website has grown, along with its community, we realised that not everyone who travels has the time or ability to write an article. So to make the site more universal, we have created this space to allow people from all over the world to share their experience through media, no matter their language or background.

If you have been on a trip or place you feel needs to be shared with others then feel free to send in your images with a description, and we will put it up.

Who we are

This website is run to help share travel experiences and advice. We rely on travellers from all around the world to record their travels and send them in so that we can share and connect them with people interested in travelling or to those wanting to know more about that certain destination. (please get in contact if you have a trip you would like to share)

Myself (Alex Hood) and the head journalist of the site (Elly Babe) also share our own travel experience for others to enjoy and be inspired by. We both study English Literature at the University of Brighton and love the way in which the site has allowed us to put in to practice what we have learn't on our degree.  We will be moving to Athens for a study year so expect lost of content from Greece. Any advice or tips are always welcome.
