Unknown Man in the Hat (Framed)
One main theme of our time in Athens has been that of protest and strikes. Before the coronavirus shut down the city we had already been prevented from going to university or using public transport a few times because of strikes. What is most striking about this image is the unknown man sporting a fedora, cradling a kompoloi (worry beads) in his left hand. He takes advantage of the blocked road to walk directly down the road toward the protest. Directly following the arrows in the road. The traffic lights shine green indicating the cars to go, which they would if it wasn't for the hundred of Greeks occupying Syntagma Square.
