Strasbourg is a city, situated in Alsace region in France. It is the official seat of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights and other European institutions. It is close to the border of Germany and Switzerland. Actually, Strasbourg was used to be the German city. The population of the city is more than 250 thousand people. Strasbourg is famous for its historic centre, which is classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Here you can find cosy streets, magnificent buildings, picturesque river views. We travelled from Leipzig to Basel and decided to drop in Strasbourg for several hours. As we didn't have enough time, we just strolled around the city, taking photos of it and enjoying local views. Anyway, the city is worth visiting for a longer time. I strongly recommend Strasbourg for travelling for a couple of days (minimum). As for me, I would like to come back here and hope to do it. And now several photos. Author,I am Marianna and I live in Moscow, Russia.
