Idaho, USA. Nicknamed the Gem State due to the abundance of natural resources and scenery. You can find up to 72 types of precious stones in the state, so bring your gear if that’s on your list of things to do! Some other popular attractions in Idaho are Craters of the Moon, a dormant volcanic area with beautiful views, caves and trails to explore. They even have a campground if you choose to stay for the night. Shoshone Falls, a stunning waterfall surrounded by trails and the alluring Snake River that offers canoeing in the summer and some of the most beautiful scenery around! Don’t forget the Oregon Trail! The historic trail with stunning sweeping views. If old ghost towns are your thing, Idaho has plenty of them to explore. One of my favourite towns to visit is Twin Falls, Idaho, which is where the photos were taken, just minutes from Shoshone Falls and the Snake River. For a smaller town, there is more than enough to do, especially in the summer, which includes some of the most delicious Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Spend the day hiking, climbing, or canoeing, whatever your heart desires. At the end of the day sit by the Perrine Bridge and enjoy watching the base jumpers one by one walking to the middle and jumping right over the side, landing safely below by the Snake River. If you love hiking in the outdoors, if you like beautiful landscapes and breathtaking views, or you’re even a city person, Idaho has something for everyone. Author,Written and photos by Justin Hunter
