For me, real photography is all about moments, memories and emotions. We use our cameras to capture the moment, but we use our edits and our memory to share with others how it made us feel.
Cameras are incredible tools but they don’t have feelings, and I think this is the fine line between a snapshot and a photograph; Us photographers, help capture the emotions behind every shot, which are meaningful to us and thus very different from stock photos/snapshots.

I enjoy travelling, seeing new places and trying new foods. As I travel I enjoy photographing the things I see and do. Recently I was in the lower Mustang Region of northern Nepal. It is a place of splendour and beauty with incredible scenery and mountains.
The people are very friendly and are ready to help you in whatever way they can to make your stay a pleasant one. We flew from Pokhara into the small town of Jomsom and a jeep met us at the airport to take us to Muktinath. Japan has always been a destination that attracted me because of its culture, its people and its landscape. Japanese martial arts and pop culture were a significant influence on me during my childhood. Leaving for Japan was also accepting a new challenge as it was my first time travelling as an amateur photographer.
Bikrampur the "City of Courage" is situated in Bangladesh. It's a pargana situated 12 miles (19 km) south of Dhaka, the modern capital city of Bangladesh.
It lies in the Munshiganj District of Bangladesh. It is a historic region in Bengal. The region is famous for its early Buddhist scholarship and in the later period for its cultural influences. This is a leading river of Bangladesh named "Dholleshwari". In this picture you can see a Cement Factory. We took a family trip to Elan Valley, a beautiful 70 square mile of lake and countryside also known as the Welsh Lake District situated just a little west of Rhayader, in Powys, Wales.
We hired bikes to follow a route around the Elan Valley Reservoirs and Elan Village that gave us some stunning scenery to enjoy despite the overcast weather. Madrid was the place that my friends and I chose to live a new adventure. It was a spontaneous and unplanned decision, but one we don´t regret. We left at dawn, from Portugal, and drove for about four hours, when we arrived, it felt like we were in another world. The sky was blue with no clouds, and the temperature was mild. When we got to town, the first thing that stood out, besides the car traffic, was the height of the buildings - I felt like an ant, but a happy ant. Another thing that stood out was the number of balconies with the Spanish flag hanging. The taxis were prominent due to their difference between them and those in Portugal.
If you are a nature lover you should not miss visiting the most volcanic area in the Iberian Peninsula, la Garrotxa. It is located in the Catalan Pirineo, in the province of Girona.
A beautiful region naturally created thousands of years ago thanks to the volcanic activities. The huge variety of substrates and the differences of altitude and orientations of the mountains creates a unique microclimate in this small area, with an extraordinary variety of flora and fauna: Mediterranean, centre European and Atlantic. What to say about Edinburgh? Well, first and foremost it is a 3-dimensional city. Most capitals worth their salt are a bit flat, but Edinburgh has high hills and crags mixed into the very fabric of the town, hills that are still wild and natural, providing a great counterpoint to the grand historic urban development.
Saint Petersburg is an amazing city, the pearl of Russia's cities. A brilliant monument of architecture, history and art. Located in the North-West of Russia it is around 700 kilometres from Moscow and close to the borders of Finland and Estonia. For the majority of the time it was known as the capital of the Russian Empire, however, now it is the second largest city in Russia.
If you like history, knowing more about our predecessors and taste some good food, Chaves is a place you need to visit.
With a large history made by Romans, Visigoths and Alans, this Portuguese city will definitely not let you down. From the local gastronomy to the city’s patrimony, you will find yourself with not much time to visit everything in there… |
